WORTHINGTON, OHIO – (February 26, 2018) Sherrie Bearden, President of Workers’ Compensation at Argos Health presented at the Central Ohio Patient Account Managers (COPAM) Educational Event at York Golf Club in Worthington, OH on February 20th.
“The focus of my presentation will be the resolution of complex Workers’ Compensation claims for healthcare providers,” said Bearden.
Workers’ Compensation can be very tedious for hospital system staff. Although the process has been redesigned to resemble other governmental & commercial payers, it remains a time-consuming & challenging system. The presentation focused on ways to simplify the everyday frustrations common to the hospital provider environment and discuss solutions for common denials on their complex Workers’ Compensation cases.
COPAM is represented by hospital and healthcare facilities from throughout Ohio and surrounding states. Their primary goal is to enhance professional development for their members through educational opportunities provided by the organization.
