Patient received bill for an MRI from a collection agency and disputed the charges. Unfortunately, the collection agency representative was rude and told the patient not to call back.

After reviewing the claim in question it was determined the bill was from the radiologist and not the hospital facility. Our team member was able to pull the MRI report and determine the physician involved. Argos contacted the physician office and updated their billing office with the correct insurance information. We advised the patient all necessary corrective action had been taken in order to correctly resolve the claim.
